Michael Johnson

Michael Johnson is a highly experienced engineering professional with over 20 years in the field of electrical and electronics engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Design Engineering Manager at Silicon Labs since January 2006, Michael leads a custom wireless SoC CMOS RF design team focused on sub-GHz and 2.4 GHz IoT solutions. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at National Instruments from August 1999 to January 2006, including Senior Engineer, where responsibilities included leading analog design efforts for electronic instrumentation and mentoring junior engineers. Michael holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
