Dan Sharp is currently the Cryo Mechanical Engineering Lead at Silicon Quantum Computing, where they are enthusiastic about engineering. Previously, they held positions as a Senior Cryogenic Hardware Engineer and Cryogenic Instrumentation and Wiring Technician, focusing on the design, development, and testing of cryogenic systems. Prior to this, Dan worked as an Engineering Laboratory Technician at CPP Wind Engineering Consultants, where they managed project timelines and improved laboratory operations. They are pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering at UNSW, expected to complete their studies in 2026.
