Michelle Simmons is a prominent figure in the field of quantum physics, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Founder & Director of Silicon Quantum Computing Pty. Ltd. since 2017. With a successful academic career, Michelle has held the position of Director at the ARC Centre for Quantum Computation and Communication Technology since 2011 and has been a Scientia Professor at UNSW since 2004. Michelle's leadership extended to serving as Editor in Chief for the Nature Partner Journal: Quantum Information from 2014 to 2021.
