Sarah Longes serves as General Counsel and Company Secretary at Silicon Quantum Computing Pty. Ltd. since November 2021. As a co-founder of Borne HMRI, an Australian research charity focused on the prevention of preterm birth, Sarah is driven by personal experiences following the loss of four of six children. Previously, Sarah held roles as General Counsel and Company Secretary at the Australian Olympic Committee from September 2018 to November 2021, where responsibilities included managing legal, compliance, and external affairs, as well as contributing to business strategy. A Senior Associate at Allens from September 2016 to September 2018, Sarah's expertise encompassed commercial disputes, regulatory matters, and intellectual property. Other professional experiences include serving as Legal Secondee at Westpac, Legal Operative at Ashfords LLP, and earlier positions at Allens, starting as a Paralegal. Sarah holds a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance, a MSc in International Management, and a combined BA LLB degree in Political Science and Law.

Silicon Quantum Computing Pty Limited (SQC) is an Australian private company at the forefront of efforts to build a commercial-scale, silicon-based quantum computer and bring quantum computing to market.
