Silkstrat Marketing helps small to mid-sized consumer and professional services businesses scale faster by transforming marketing into a growth driver. Our clients have proven their business models and need the strategic leadership of a chief marketing officer to thrive. Instead of paying the full-time rate for a chief marketing officer, companies hire our Fractional CMOs on a part-time basis, for a fraction of the cost. We roll up our sleeves and collaborate with company leaders to solve big problems. We set the marketing strategy, then lead your team and/or agencies to execute the plan and achieve business goals. Along the way, we build a marketing framework and establish systems that lead to predictable results, setting the state to eventually hire a full-time head of marketing.

Our founder, Karin Silk, is a process driven CMO with 20+ years of experience building beloved CPG food brands (Quaker Oatmeal and Rice-A-Roni) and national and regional restaurant chains (QDOBA and Rubio’s Coastal Grill). With her extensive experience and professional network, including CMOX and Fractionals United, Karin has access to a broad pool of skilled marketers, agencies, and marketing suppliers. She also is deeply connected to expert practitioners in IT, Analytics, Sales, Operations who can assist in delivering immediate results for our clients.

Silkstrat Marketing can provide you with as much attention as you need to grow and achieve your goals until you are ready to hire a full-time marketing leader. The money you save from hiring a fractional CMO on a part-time basis, versus a full-time CMO, can be deployed to more technical marketing talent, marketing platforms, or advertising spending. Let’s accelerate your growth!

Engagements begin with a commitment of only three months. Or ask about our half-day Strategy Session if you just need help jump starting a plan.
