R A.'s work experience includes a current role as a Master, Cyber Security Engineer, SME at Silotech Group, Inc since April 2022. Prior to this, R A. worked at ICF as a Master Cyber Security Engineer and Cyber Security Engineering Consultant from March 2016 to April 2022. During their time at ICF, they also held the position of Lead, Cyber Security Engineer at ICF from February 2018 to February 2019. Before joining ICF, R A. worked at CSRA Inc as a Sr. Principle, Cyber Security where they were responsible for overseeing the Security Operations Center and leading incident response from September 2015 to June 2016. They also worked as a Professor at Vista College, teaching IT/IS courses and preparing students for certification exams from December 2014 to September 2015. R A. served as Principal at Cyber Storm Technologies Group, LLC from May 2011 to September 2015, managing relationships, establishing technology standards, and developing applications. Prior to that, they worked in various roles at UoP / KU, Symbol Technologies, Cisco Systems, and the US Navy, gaining experience in IT, security, forensics, directorial positions, and systems analysis.

R A. has a diverse education history. They started their academic journey in 1988 and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management and Education at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 1990.

In 1999, they attended the MIT Sloan School of Management and obtained a degree in Business with a focus on Management, completing their studies in 2000.

R A. continued their education in the field of Criminal Justice, earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Kaplan University, specializing in Criminal Justice - Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) from 2007 to 2010.

In 2002-2003, they pursued a degree in Digital Computer Forensics from the American College of Forensic Examiners, specializing in Computer and Homeland Security.

R A. went on to acquire a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Phoenix between 2010 and 2012, excelling in Security and Administration.

Currently, R A. is pursuing a Ph.D. in Data Science at The Johns Hopkins University from 2019 to 2023.
