The vision of a disruptive, solvent-free multifunctional chemical toolbox was originally invented in 2017 by our CEO Dr. Matthias Koebel at his alma mater “Empa” – Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology - in Dubendorf, Switzerland. 
siloxene was subsequently founded in 2020 with the mission to fill an essential technology gap: to replace established adhesion promotion systems which are mostly chemically instable, water-pollutant, hazardous and are therefore potentially facing regulatory bans or restrictions.
