Šilta šiaurė is an architecture and interior studio which develops projects based on these values:

🌿SUSTAINABILITY.  We live with the idea of reusing old buildings - our office is located in the historic station building of Švenčionėliai. We believe in wood as a sustainable, renewable building material for the future. Our team members have experience in designing buildings made from brick, wooden, straw panels, hemp and concrete.
 
🌿ENDURING VALUE.  We like buildings with simple, refined, archetypal forms and lively, high-quality, beautifully aging interiors.

🌿AESTHETICS.  When creating houses and summer houses, we are looking for the identity of modern Lithuanian wooden architecture. We are fascinated by old Scandinavian, Japanese and Lithuanian wooden buildings. We consider environmental aesthetics to be one of the core psychological needs, equivalent to functionality.

🌿SLOWNESS.  In an overcrowded world, it is better not to do anything than to do anything. It takes time to mature a good idea.

🌿INNOVATION.  We like to search and experiment, so when designing we do not limit ourselves to seen and tested solutions. With each project, we look for new forms, combinations and create an individual, customer-inspired spirit.
