Babak T.

Babak T. is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the semiconductor and technology industry. Currently serving as the CEO and Board of Directors Member at Silvaco Inc since October 2018, Babak also holds the position of CTO and Executive Vice President of Products at IBTechnologies since May 2015. Previous roles include VP/GM of the Sensor Solutions Division at Freescale Semiconductor and VP/GM of Non-Volatile Products at Cypress Semiconductor Corporation. With a strong foundation in engineering, having founded Integrated Biosensing Technologies and developed one of the world’s first wireless wearable sensors, Babak holds multiple patents and has a significant background in R&D from organizations like SRI International and Apple. Babak earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Neurosciences from the University of California, Davis, along with an MSEE from San Jose State University and a BS in Engineering from San Francisco State University.
