Josef Weinbub

Josef Weinbub is currently the Advanced R&D Program Director at Silvaco Inc since May 2024. Prior to this role, Josef held various academic positions at TU Wien - Institute for Microelectronics from January 2010 to April 2024, including Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Senior Scientist, Postdoctoral Researcher, and Research Assistant and Doctoral Student. Josef also served as a Visiting Researcher at Silvaco Inc in March 2018 and at both the EPCC, University of Edinburgh and the University of Glasgow in October and November 2012. Josef holds multiple degrees from Technische Universität Wien, including a Privatdozent in Computational Micro- and Nanoelectronics, a PhD in Computational Micro- and Nanoelectronics, a Master of Science in Microelectronics, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
