Austin Fields

Austin Fields is an Associate at Silver Lake. Previously, they worked as an Analyst at Blackstone from June 2020 to March 2022 in Private Equity Real Estate - Acquisitions. Prior to that, Austin worked as a Researcher at MIT Real Estate Innovation Lab from September 2019 to April 2020 where they completed a senior thesis in applied mathematics under the guidance of Dr. Andrea Chegut. The project studied the value of experiential retail, analyzing theoretical and empirical evidence of price discrimination in New York City. Additionally, Austin worked as a Summer Analyst, Merchant Banking Division at Goldman Sachs from May 2019 to August 2019 where conducted due diligence for investment opportunities, compiling market data, comparable transaction analyses, and broker opinions.

Austin Fields completed a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics in Economics from Harvard University. Austin also holds a high school diploma from Pine Crest School. In addition, they are certified as a Commercial Pilot, Instrument Rated Pilot, and Private Pilot by the Federal Aviation Administration.
