Hans Hermans

Hans Hermans is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in developing and managing software solutions. Currently serving as a Founding Engineer at Strac since September 2021, Hans previously worked at Amazon Web Services as a Sr. Software Development Engineer, contributing to the SCAN team focused on third-party software security and compliance. Prior to that, Hans held roles at Amazon, including Tech Lead for the Amazon Payment Experience team, where significant efforts were made to migrate the checkout pipeline to a decoupled web service architecture. Hans began the career as a technology intern at Susquehanna International Group, enhancing operational monitoring capabilities. Hans holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
