Tom Marek

Tom Marek is a seasoned sales engineer with extensive experience in the telecommunications and smart city sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Sales Engineer at Itron, Inc. since January 2017, Tom specializes in Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Smart City/IoT solutions following Itron's acquisition of Silver Spring Networks, where Tom held the role of Senior Sales Engineer. Previous roles include positions at Pannaway Technologies as a Consulting Engineer, and several leadership roles at Enterasys, Cabletron, and Netserv. Tom obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and has a foundational education from The University of Texas at Austin.
