Kim Butrum

SVP, Clinical Services at Silverado

Kim Butrum has dedicated her career to inspiring clinical excellence, driving results that make a measurable impact in people’s lives.

With 30 years of extensive experience serving and treating those with neurodegenerative disorders, Kim forms connection between top research and Silverado program –including new program development, overseeing Silverado’s university affiliations, and leading studies in which the company participates. Since joining Silverado in 2014, Kim has also led nursing teams as a key part of her role to collect, share and optimize programs based on clinical outcomes and quality of life indicators, which Silverado has been collecting since it was founded.

Kim has worked as a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner, a skilled nursing facility director, founding director of a sub-acute rehabilitation unit, leader of a team at UC San Diego Medical Center Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, and as a Nurse Practitioner at The Memory Center at Seton Brain and Spine Neurology. She is a national speaker on dementia and an instructor for neuroscience nursing.

Kim describes herself as endlessly curious about people as well as things the medical community continues to learn about the brain. Her greatest passion in life is being a mom, which stems from her lifelong commitment to nurturing others.
