Stan Tanabe

Stan started with Silverado in 1997 at the very first Silverado Community in Escondido, CA, and has a 30 plus year career in senior living physical plant operations. Over the 30 years, Stan has worked in both AL memory care and in skilled nursing.

Stan oversees State and Local physical environment compliance, implements maintenance, housekeeping and laundry policies and procedures, as well as manage the life safety systems. Stan also works with the Silverado Development, Risk Management and Purchasing teams on new community design, physical plant and life safety equipment specifications, construction management, OSHA compliance, emergency management/disaster preparedness and new product testing and selections.

Stan has received the Best of the Best Program to Spotlight Award, the Spirit Award, the Spirit of Innovation Award and is a member of the Assisted Living Federation of America.
