Flavius Chis

Flavius Chis is currently a Platform Architect at Silverchair. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at 1E from June 2015 to February 2017. There, they built solutions for real time detection of software vulnerabilities to enhance the security of hundreds of thousands of computers belonging to Fortune 100 companies, using the .NET web stack. Before that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Ullink - now part of Itiviti from February 2014 to June 2015. There, they refined the monitoring tool used to display, filter and search millions of stock market orders per day as part of the stock market connectivity platform, based on Java and C#, used by some of the world’s largest banks. Flavius was also a Cloud Engineer at Coresystems AG from March 2011 to February 2014. There, they enhanced the CRM system used by Johnson and Johnson to track customer/sales interactions with hundreds of hospitals by building C# applications in Azure. Flavius also designed and built a synchronization mechanism between mobile devices, Azure and AWS cloud services, enabling thousands of sales representatives to use the CRM offline while visiting hospitals. Prior to that, they were a Team-Leader at Addis GmbH from March 2009 to March 2011.

Flavius Chis graduated from Mircea Eliade National College in Sighișoara with a high school diploma in mathematics and computer science. Flavius then went on to study computer science at Universitatea „Babeș-Bolyai” din Cluj-Napoca, where they earned a bachelor's degree.
