Duane Jackson

Duane Jackson is the Founder and Managing Partner of Author Capital Partners, a private equity firm supporting entrepreneurial family- and founder-led businesses through flexible capital and strategic advice since July 2020. Jackson serves as a Board Member at SilverIP and holds membership in The Economic Club of Chicago. Previous roles include Advisory Board Member at ESD and Virtus, Private Equity Investor at BDT & MSD Partners from 2014 to 2020, and a Toigo Private Equity Fellow at Vista Equity Partners. Additionally, Jackson worked at the U.S. Department of the Treasury on the Troubled Asset Relief Program and as an Investment Banker at Merrill Lynch. Jackson holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and has completed programs at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and The Wharton School, as well as a BBA from The George Washington University.
