Arlyn Andrews is currently the Principal Scientist for Earth Observations at SilverLining, where they support the Safe Earth System Research Initiative and provide leadership for the Sustained Observations for Atmospheric Research initiative. Arlyn founded Former Feds and Friends, LLC, and previously served as the Division Lead for the Carbon Cycle Greenhouse Gases Division at NOAA’s Global Monitoring Laboratory from 2019 to April 2025. They earned a Ph.D. in Earth and Planetary Science from Harvard University in 2000, after which they contributed to NASA's satellite sensor development and developed autonomous measurement systems for NOAA's Global Greenhouse Gas Reference Network. Arlyn has been actively engaged in climate research and various scientific teams since 2004.
