Kim Vertner has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Starting in 2004, they worked at GE as a Software Engineer, building mobile and web apps for real estate businesses. They also served as a Senior QA Engineer, responsible for manual testing and developing internal testing tools. In 2008, they joined United Technologies as a Software Engineer, specifically developing and maintaining an iOS and Android eKEY application for real estate agents. Concurrently, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at the Oregon Institute of Technology. In 2015, Kim joined Sand Dollar Labs as a Mobile Application Developer, where they developed multiple mobile applications and backends using Microsoft Xamarin, C# .NET, and Azure. Lastly, in 2019, they joined Silverpine as a Senior Mobile Developer.
Kim Vertner obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Business from Marylhurst University. This took place from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, Kim earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Software Engineering from the Oregon Institute of Technology between 2004 and 2006. Kim also possesses several additional certifications including ACE Associate from United Technologies, Leadership and Innovation Training from Construx Software, Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance, and Six Sigma Greenbelt from GE Digital.
