Roel Peeters

Roel Peeters has a strong background in product management, marketing, and project management. Roel currently holds the position of Senior Director of Product Management at SilverRail, a role they have been in since September 2020. Prior to this, they had various roles at SilverRail, including Director of Product Marketing, Director of Product Management, Senior Product Manager, and Product Manager, starting in 2012 and ending in 2020.

Before joining SilverRail, Peeters worked as a Product Management Intern at ITA Software by Google in 2011. Roel also gained extensive experience at Phoenix Informatica Bancaria SpA, where they served as a Project Manager from September 2006 to August 2010, and as a C++ Programmer/Analyst from 2002 to 2010.

Peeters began their career at E-Base Interactive, Inc in 2000, working as a Project Manager on an Insurance Application. Their responsibilities included requirements analysis, functional design, project planning, and guiding the development team. Lastly, they worked as a Software Engineer at Euro-Partners Informatici from 1996 to 1999.

Roel Peeters has a diverse education history. In 1992, they began their academic journey at Fontys University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology. Roel successfully completed the program in 1996.

After obtaining their Bachelor's degree, Roel Peeters furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science at Binghamton University from 1999 to 2002.

In 2010, Roel Peeters enrolled in the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst to pursue an MBA degree. Roel specialized in Technology Management & Entrepreneurship and completed the program in 2012.

To enhance their skill set and stay relevant in the ever-evolving field of technology, Roel Peeters also obtained several additional certifications. In June 2020, they achieved certifications in various areas, including "Becoming an AI-First Product Leader," "Communication for Product Managers," "Product Management: Building a Product Strategy," and "UX Foundations: Storytelling." Additionally, in May 2020, Roel Peeters obtained a certification in "Machine Learning for Business Professionals" from Coursera.
