Allan Farinas

Allan Farinas has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Allan is currently working as a Software Engineer at CareRev since June 2021. Previously, they held the role of Software Engineering Team Lead at AMN Healthcare from December 2019 to May 2021, and also worked as a Software Engineer at AMN Healthcare from March 2019 to December 2019. Before that, Allan worked as a Software Engineer at Silversheet from April 2019 to May 2021. From September 2017 to March 2019, they gained experience as a Software Engineer at Revolution Prep, where they developed and tested features for students and tutors using Ruby on Rails REST API and Angular front-end. In this role, they also migrated applications from AngularJS to Angular and improved development and onboarding processes. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at UnBOOKed Appointments from August 2014 to February 2017. Allan's work experience also includes a role as a Teaching Assistant at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from September 2013 to April 2014, and as a Ground Systems Engineering Intern at Jet Propulsion Laboratory from January 2013 to June 2013. Allan also gained valuable experience as a Mobile App Development Intern at Parsons from May 2012 to September 2012.

Allan Farinas completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona between 2011 and 2014. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, planning to complete it between 2020 and 2023.
