Abdel BENAMARA

Abdel BENAMARA has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Abdel worked at Silverwell Artificial Lift Intelligence as the Regional Vice President for MENA & APAC, starting in September 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Regional Manager for MENA and APAC at the same company from February 2015 to September 2019. At WPP, they served as the Head of Business Development & Engineering Services from October 2013 to January 2015, where they focused on developing the company's activity in Africa and the Middle East, particularly in the oil and gas downstream sector. Abdel was responsible for proposing feasibility studies, EPC works, and building business relationships. Before that, they worked at PCM starting in November 2005. As the Europe Area Manager, they developed the company's activity in the region, handled client inquiries, and prepared technical and commercial offers for major projects. Abdel also participated in new product development and implementation of R&D pilots. Later, as the Middle East Area Manager from January 2009 to October 2013, they managed PCM's oil and gas activity in the region and helped establish the company's legal structure in the UAE.

Abdel BENAMARA pursued their higher education in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Abdel first attended Ecole nationale d'Ingénieurs de Metz from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Master's degree. Later, they studied at the University of Bristol from 2002 to 2003, earning another Master's degree, also in Mechanical Engineering.
