George Sutherland

George Sutherland has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. George began their career in 1987 as a Telecommunications Engineer/Manager in HM Forces, where they stayed until 2010. In 2011, they joined Fujitsu as a Team Leader responsible for implementing new ICT systems and infrastructure. Later that year, they became a Communications Manager for the British Embassy in Afghanistan at G4S Secure Solutions. From 2013 to 2015, George worked as a Communication Installation Manager for Balfour Beatty Rail on the Malaysian double track project. George then joined Codan Communications as a Field Service Engineer and later as a Field Service Manager, where they managed resources and ensured high-quality service delivery to global customers. George also served as a Communications Manager at GardaWorld from 2020 to 2023 before taking on their current role as the International Sales Director at Silvus Technologies.

George Sutherland attended Balerno High School from 1983 to 1987. George did not obtain a degree or specialize in a particular field of study during this time. In terms of additional certifications, George obtained several professional certifications from LinkedIn. These include "Project Management Foundations" in June 2020, "Project Management: International Projects" in April 2020, "Business Process Improvement" in March 2020, "Learning Design Thinking: Lead Change in Your Organization" in February 2020, and "Leading and Working in Teams" in December 2019.
