Jimi started their career in 2000 as a Satellite, Wideband, and Telemetry Systems Technician in the United States Air Force, where they provided tactical satellite communications and ensured command and control capabilities in various exercises and contingencies. Jimi then joined Global Microwave Systems, Inc. in 2004, where they initially worked as an RF Test Technician, conducting testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic equipment. Jimi later became a Sales Account Manager and eventually a Production Test Supervisor, overseeing a group of technicians and managing the company's technical support. In 2009, they joined Cobham Surveillance (formerly Global Microwave Systems, Inc.) as a Sales and Marketing Manager.
