Ajit Kumar

Ajit Kumar is a seasoned professional in physical design and SoC engineering with robust experience spanning over 19 years. Currently serving as Principal at SiMa.ai since February 2022, Ajit Kumar focuses on physical design. Previously, Ajit Kumar worked at Intel Corporation from October 2015 to January 2022 as a SoC Design Engineer, where responsibilities included FCL activities, PPA optimization, and team collaboration. Earlier roles include Staff Engineer at Lantiq, where Ajit Kumar successfully taped out multiple 40nm chips, and various engineering positions at companies like Magma Design Automation and Freescale Semiconductor, contributing to key activities such as physical verification, thermal analysis, and parasitic rule files generation. Ajit Kumar holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), completed in 2004.
