Derek Moehring

Derek Moehring has a strong background in graphic design and art direction. Derek started their career as a Graphic Designer at Western Illinois University, where they worked on promotional projects for the Division I sports teams. Derek then joined Maui Jim Sunglasses as a Rx Lab Technician, where they provided lab support and developed skills in mechanical operations and efficiency. Derek later transitioned to the role of Graphic Designer at Maui Jim, where they designed and layout various marketing materials across multiple channels. Currently, Derek is employed as a Senior Art Director at Simantel, where they oversee the artistic direction of projects.

Derek Moehring began their education at Illinois Central College from 2008 to 2010, where they pursued an Associate of Science degree in Graphic Communications. Following this, from 2011 to 2013, they attended Western Illinois University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Communications.
