Emma Reid has a wealth of experience in finance and sustainability. Emma began their career in 2004 as an Executive in Retail, Consumer and Industrial Products at EY, where they managed large audit teams on complex, deadline driven FTSE 250 clients. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Financial Analyst at Sky, where they were a financial analyst and controller for several new, high growth businesses. In 2009, they joined Burberry as a Financial Analysis Senior Manager - Beauty, where they were responsible for creating, distributing and consolidating budget and forecast global margins for the Beauty sector. Emma also created business case models for new products launched and potential new sectors in Beauty. From 2016 to 2021, they worked at Tribesports, first as Managing Director and then as Finance Director. Most recently, they have been the Head of Sustainability and ESG at Simba Sleep since 2021.
Emma Reid began their educational journey at The Bishop Strachan School in Toronto, Canada from 1994 to 2000. Emma then attended Durham University from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Masters of Engineering with a specialisation in Manufacture and Management. From 2004 to 2007, they completed the EY - ACA program, obtaining an ACA qualification in Accounting. In 2021, Emma attended the University of Cambridge, where they completed the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership in Business Sustainability Management. Emma is currently enrolled in the same program at the University of Cambridge, focusing on Sustainable Supply Chains.
