Jack McClain has a diverse work experience in the field of game design and production. Jack currently works as a Game Designer at Simcoach Games since July 2021. Prior to this, they were a Festival Production Intern at Games for Change from June 2021 to August 2021.
Jack also has extensive experience at Carnegie Mellon University where they served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from January 2021 to June 2021. During their time there, they also worked as a Producer and Designer on two projects, "Amuseum" and "CloudWorks," from January 2021 to June 2021 and from March 2020 to December 2020 respectively. Additionally, they worked as a Game Design Teaching Assistant at the National High School Game Academy from June 2020 to August 2020.
Further, Jack held various roles at Carnegie Mellon University as a Social Media Intern and a Game Designer/Design Researcher on the "EmpowerUp" project from January 2020 to May 2020. Overall, their work experience demonstrates their skills and expertise in game design, production, teaching assistantship, and social media management.
Jack McClain earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design and History from The Ohio State University, where they studied from 2012 to 2019. Jack then pursued a Master's degree in Entertainment Technology at Carnegie Mellon University from 2019 to 2021.
