Andrew Neil

Andrew Neil is a Principal Software Engineer at SimCorp, having previously held various roles in the financial services sector, including positions at Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase & Co., and Morgan Stanley. Starting their coding journey in 1979, they took up computing as a career in 1984 and have since worked across multiple investment banks and other companies in roles ranging from developer to project manager. With a strong business acumen, Andrew views technology as a tool rather than an end goal and balanced their professional pursuits with personal achievements, such as completing a triple ironman in 2015. They hold an Upper Second degree in Mathematics from the University of Exeter and have extensive experience in areas including data engineering and application support.
