Jan Kuijken

Jan Kuijken is the Lead Legal Counsel at SimCorp, bringing a robust background in civil law, with a focus on general obligations law. Throughout their career, Jan has accumulated extensive experience in litigation, negotiations, and contract formation, particularly while working at Kuijken Advocaten from 2016 to 2019. They served as Senior Legal Counsel and Manager PDO at Itility from 2020 to 2024, where they managed legal risks and provided strategic advice across multiple business functions. Jan completed their Bachelor and Master of Laws at Maastricht University and holds a post-graduate specialization in IT legal counsel from Outvie. Currently, Jan seeks new challenges in a dynamic and involved work environment, with a keen interest in integrating international aspects into their legal practice.
