Mathieu Sanchez has a diverse work experience in the field of neurovascular treatments for cerebral aneurysms. Mathieu is the CEO and co-founder of Sim&Cure, a digital startup focused on improving neurovascular treatments using proprietary software. Prior to that, they co-founded and served as CEO of IRRAs Technology, where they provided software solutions for clinicians and medical device manufacturers. Mathieu also worked as a post-doctoral researcher at CNRS, where they led a project focused on patient-specific computations for aneurysm treatment optimization. Additionally, Mathieu served as an executive R&D at Philips Healthcare, where they co-led a consortium on the identification and prevention of individual risk of rupture of cerebral aneurysms.

Mathieu Sanchez completed their Bachelor of mechanical engineering at Concordia University from 2006 to 2007. Mathieu then pursued a Master Mecanique et Ingenierie with a focus on Mechanical Engineering at the University of Montpellier from 2007 to 2009. Mathieu furthered their education at the University of Montpellier and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomechanical from 2009 to 2012.
