Bernie Tan

Bernie Tan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in corporate assurance and engineering. Currently serving as the Senior Executive of Group Corporate Assurance at Sime Darby since September 2013, Bernie Tan provides independent assurance to the organization. During the tenure at Sime Darby, participation in the Management Trainee Programme allowed for the execution of business improvement and process efficiency initiatives. Prior experience includes a role as a Technical Safety Engineer Intern at Technip from 2012 to 2013, where Bernie Tan conducted technical safety simulations and assessments on oil and gas platforms. Academically, Bernie Tan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Monash University Malaysia and a Diploma in Engineering in Chemical Engineering from HELP International College of Technology.
