Dipak Maiti

Dipak Maiti serves as the President of Indian Operations at Simerics Inc. since December 2016, overseeing engineering, software development, operations, marketing, and sales in India. Prior to this role, Dipak held the position of Senior Program Manager at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development from March 2010 to November 2016, where responsibilities included leading a team in engineering simulations for Powertrain development and managing global product development in collaboration with Daimler AG. Dipak's earlier experience includes serving as Engineering Manager at General Motors Technical Centre from January 2004 to February 2010, conducting CFD and system simulation activities, and as a CAE Engineer at TCS. Additionally, Dipak was an Assistant Professor at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, focusing on fluid mechanics and heat transfer. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Thermal Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from IIEST, Shibpur.
