Raj Ranganathan

Raj Ranganathan serves as the Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Simerics, Inc., where innovative methods have been employed to penetrate new industries and drive business growth since March 2014. Additionally, Raj Ranganathan has been an Adjunct Faculty member at Seattle University, teaching mechanical engineering courses since 2014. Previously, Raj Ranganathan held the position of Senior Vice President of R&D at Turbo Energy Limited/Showatech, overseeing analysis methods development and experimental budgets for turbine and compressor technology. Further experience includes roles as Director of Heat Transfer at CD-adapco, where capabilities in combustion chamber heat transfer were enhanced, and various positions at General Motors focused on CFD and vehicle thermal management. Raj Ranganathan's career began as a Lead Engineer at Super Collider Laboratory, supervising projects in cryogenic heat transfer and superconducting magnet design. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT.
