Roberto Rio

Roberto Rio has extensive experience in law and corporate governance, currently serving as a Partner at LMCR/La Torre Morgese Cesàro Rio since 2012, and as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors at Simest SpA since December 2019. Additionally, Roberto Rio has been a Board Member at SACBO S.p.A. since 2012, and held board membership at Fondazione Italia-Cina from 2013 to 2018. In 2016, an advisory role was undertaken for the Minister of Justice on Corporate Law and International Trade, while participation in the Commission for the Reform of the Italian Insolvency Law occurred in 2015. Prior to these roles, Roberto Rio was a Partner at Grimaldi e Associati from 2006 to 2011 and at Clifford Chance from 2001 to 2005, where earlier experience included positions as an Associate and Intern. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor (J.D.) in Law from institutions such as the European University Institute, Université libre de Bruxelles, and Università di Pisa.
