Felipe Pardo has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Felipe started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Universidad de los Andes - Colombia, where they also worked as a Research Assistant. Felipe later joined Talisman Energy as a Planning & Commercial Intern and then as a Planning & Commercial Analyst, where they developed a risk-valuation model for Colombian operations. Felipe then worked at Stern Stewart & Co. as a Consultant and later as a Senior Consultant. Felipe then transitioned to Teka Capital, where they served as a Private Equity Analyst and later as a Private Equity Senior Analyst, overseeing various value creation initiatives and M&A transactions. Felipe also held positions at Americana de Colchones as a Board of Directors Member and at Mae Selva as a Cofounder & CEO, leading and growing the sustainable cosmetic company. Felipe was actively involved in the non-profit sector as Vice President of the Board of Directors at Jardin Infantil Obrero. Felipe also worked at Stern Value Management as a Consulting Associate and later as the LatAm Manager. Their current role is as Head of Finance at Simetrik. Throughout their career, Felipe has achieved significant milestones, including sales growth and the approval of their risk-valuation model for use by headquarters directors.
Felipe Pardo holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes, which they obtained in 2014. Felipe further pursued their education at the same institution and received a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Industrial Engineering from 2014 to 2016. In 2015, Felipe also attended Arizona State University to earn the Six Sigma Black Belt certification in Operations Research. In terms of additional certifications, Felipe completed the Programming Using Python course at Universidad de Los Andes, although the exact month of completion is unknown, sometime in the year 2022.
