John Saenz has extensive work experience in the engineering field. John started their career in 2009 as an Engineer at SIMFLO and later progressed to the role of Chief Engineer. In 2019, they were promoted to Vice President of Engineering at SIMFLO. Prior to joining SIMFLO, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Student at the University of Arizona from 2006 to 2009.

John Saenz obtained a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they studied Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Technologies at Arizona State University from 2004 to 2006. In terms of certifications, they became a Professional Engineer (PE) certified by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in 2019, and also by the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration in 2016.
