Elizabeth Millar has had a variety of roles in their career. In 2019, they began working as an Application Engineer at Simio LLC. In 2018, they were a Co-op at GE Aviation, where they led test cell improvement implementation as a continuous improvement project manager, worked on a 5S project in engine prep rooms, and implemented a process using Maximo to communicate part statuses and record resource histories. Elizabeth also worked as a Teaching Assistant - Ergonomics and Human Factors at the Rochester Institute of Technology that same year. In 2017, they were a Co-op at GE Aviation, where they acted as manufacturing production support and planner, improved shop floor management and delivery methods, and implemented 5S and lean principles at work stations. In 2016, they were a Co-op at GE Aviation, where they acted as a supervisor and planner for the engine test cell and assembly maintenance team, planned projects, and integrated and supported the work order tracking system, Maximo.
Elizabeth Millar attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master in Engineering in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
