Jeff Smith

Jeff Smith is a Simulation Practitioner and Educator who currently serves as the Vice President for Training and Academic Services at Simio Software and as a Technical Fellow at Simio LLC. Jeff’s extensive academic career includes serving as a Professor at Auburn University from 1999 to 2023 and as an Associate Professor at Texas A&M University from 1992 to 1999. Jeff holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Prior to their academic roles, Jeff worked as an Industrial Engineer for Philip Morris USA and had early experience with EDS.
