Leo Nel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Leo (Leonard) is currently employed as the Director of Product & Support Services at Simio Software since November 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Digital Twin Delivery Manager for the same company from October 2019 to November 2022.

Leo Nel's education history is as follows:

From 1992 to 1994, Leo attended the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria and obtained a B.Sc. (Honors) degree in Bio Medical Engineering.

Prior to that, from 1988 to 1991, Leo pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical & Electronics at North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit.

Leo completed their high school education at Highschool Ferdinand Postma from 1983 to 1987. The specific degree and field of study during high school are unknown.

In addition to their formal education, Leo has obtained certifications outside of their academic studies. In November 2018, they earned the "Introduction to Simulation and Scheduling: Level 1 Certification" from Simio LLC. Leo also acquired the "Simio Online Learning Series: Level 2 Certification (SIMLAB-Certified)" from the same institution in May 2019.
