Joe Walker is an accomplished culinary professional with extensive experience in food operations and restaurant management. Currently serving as the Head of Food Operations at Simmer since October 2022, Joe initiated growth by over 10,000% within the first year after joining the team as a Remote Consultant Chef during the COVID-19 lockdowns. Prior roles include Chef Director at J Walker Private Dining, Regional Head Chef at The Chestnut Group, and various head chef positions at notable establishments like Wernher Restaurant and Anglian Country Inns. Joe began a career in food manufacturing as a Consultant Chef for Farmyard Frozen and has played key roles in multiple restaurants by opening and managing venues. Joe is a graduate of North Hertfordshire College, with foundational education from Hitchin Boys School.
