Andrew Wheelicker

Andrew Wheelicker has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Andrew started their career as an Electrician at BRITISH RAIL ENGINEERING LIMITED from 1977 to 1986. Andrew then worked as a Resorts Representative for British Airways Holidays from April 1986 to October 1986, providing customer support in hotels and apartment complexes. In November 1986, they joined Carnival Cruise Line as a Cocktail Bartender, where they served drinks and provided excellent customer service. From 1987 to 1991, Andrew worked as an Electrician at Nexus Ltd, before joining Mobicom as a Wiring Technician in March 1991. Andrew later became a System Technician at Mobicom from 1995 to 1997. Andrew then joined Simoco Europe Ltd as a Project Engineer, responsible for system integration and commissioning, from 1997 to 1998. Andrew was then promoted to the role of Bid Engineer from 1998 to 2000, where they worked closely with the Sales Department and responded to tender documents. In 2000, Andrew joined Simoco Wireless Solutions as a Project Manager, leading large projects and providing after-sales care. Andrew later served as a Bid Manager from 2005 to 2009, improving the win ratio of tenders completed by the company. From 2009 to 2011, Andrew worked as a Commercial Manager, managing key accounts and introducing new revenue streams. Andrew then served as an Engineering Services Manager from 2011 to 2018, overseeing the delivery of complex projects and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Currently, they hold the position of Commercial Director at Simoco Wireless Solutions.

From 2001 to 2004, Andrew Wheelicker attended the University of Derby, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Project Management.
