Marc Demierre

Marc Demierre is a co-founder of Simon & Josef GmbH, focusing on creating sustainable hotel stays through energy efficiency and resource savings while enhancing guest experiences. Marc has been with Swisscom since February 2018, serving as a Tech Lead and Software/Data Engineer, and previously as a DevOps Engineer for the Big Data Platform. In addition, Marc worked as an Assistant Lecturer at the College of Engineering and Architecture of Fribourg, where responsibilities included designing and teaching an advanced data management course. Marc also has freelance experience in full-stack web development and has held various roles in IT and software engineering across different organizations. Marc holds a Master of Science in Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, alongside various certificates in English and professional maturity in Computer Science.
