Aaron Carter is an experienced professional in property tax management, currently serving as the Director of Property Tax at Simon Property Group since October 2006. In this role, Aaron oversees budgeting, tax appeal management, real estate assessment reviews, reporting, and tax payments for one of the world’s leading commercial real estate firms. Prior to this position, Aaron held various roles within the property tax department, including Senior Manager, Manager, and Assistant Manager. Earlier career experiences include a position as a Senior Valuation Research Analyst, as well as roles in accounts receivable at Kmart and in asset protection and management at Ed Martin Nissan and AutoZone. Aaron is an alumnus of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
