Shane Cox

Shane Cox, P.E. is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in energy management and building systems. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Energy Assets at Simon Property Group since January 2019, Shane oversees nationwide building management systems and the implementation of the Tridium platform. Previously, Shane worked as a Controls/Systems Engineer at Schmidt Associates, focusing on facility management system design in commercial construction. Shane has also held project management roles at Energy Systems Group and Johnson Controls, managing energy retrofit projects and serving as a design engineer. Shane holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
