Christine Pride is an accomplished writer and editor with extensive experience in the publishing industry. Currently serving as a Writer/Editor, Christine has authored novels such as "You Were Always Mine" (Atria, 2023) and "We Are Not Like Them" (Atria, 2021) while also contributing articles and columns to various platforms. In addition to teaching at the University of Denver Publishing Institute and GrubStreet, Christine holds the position of Senior Editor at Simon and Schuster since June 2016. Prior roles include being an Editorial Consultant from 2012 to 2016, and serving as Senior Editor at Hyperion and Editor at Random House, where a reputation for nurturing talent and building relationships was established. Christine began a career in the non-profit sector as Director of Development/PR for The Family Center.
