Jen Wang is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in the publishing and art sectors. Currently serving as Design Director at Simon & Schuster since January 2024, Jen has previously held significant roles at Penguin Random House, including Assistant Art Director and Senior Designer/Art Program Manager, where a focus on lifestyle, food, and arts and culture books was prominent. Additional experience includes managing DEI initiatives within the Random House division and teaching design courses at Mercy College. With a strong background in user experience design from roles at the Guggenheim Museum and Optimizely, as well as a solid foundation in print design and publishing from positions at Penguin Group USA, Jen brings a comprehensive skill set that combines artistic direction with technical expertise. Jen holds a Master's degree in Information Management & Systems from UC Berkeley and a BFA in Design from UCLA.
