Julia McCarthy

Julia McCarthy is an experienced editor with a progressive career at Simon & Schuster, where roles have included Editorial Assistant, Assistant Editor, Associate Editor, and Editor since April 2017. Prior to this, Julia gained valuable experience as an Editorial Assistant at Penguin Group USA from December 2013 to April 2017 and as a Blogger at Quirk Books for a brief period in 2013. Additional experience includes serving as an Associate Producer at Scholastic and Production Assistant at Manhattan Connection. Julia started a writing career as an Editorial Intern and Contributing Writer at Nylon Magazine and Washington Square News. Julia holds a B.S. in Media, Culture, and Communications with a minor in Studio Art from New York University and attended The American University of Paris in 2008. Julia graduated from Dublin Coffman High School in 2006.
