Laura Eckes

Laura Eckes is an experienced art director and designer with a demonstrated history of working in publishing and the arts. Currently, Laura serves as an Associate Art Director at Simon & Schuster, a role held since October 2018, with previous positions as Senior Designer and Designer within the same company. Prior to this, Laura worked as a Design Assistant at HarperCollins Publishers from June 2016 to October 2018. Additional experience includes serving as an Artist Contractor at the Museum of Science in Boston, where Laura designed a significant mural and created illustrations for the department's website, and as a Design and Social Media Intern at Westcott Community Art Gallery. Laura Eckes graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Syracuse University in 2014.
