Steve Black

Steve Black is an experienced publishing professional with a significant track record in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Vice President of Client Publisher Services at Simon and Schuster since 2010, Steve has previously held positions such as Director of Sales at Southern Progress Corporation, where an annual sales plan was developed for the Oxmoor House/Sunset Division. Prior to that, Steve was Chief Operating Officer of the CDS Division at Perseus Books Group, overseeing the planning and merger with CDS, and served as Chief Operating Officer at CDS, managing outsourcing services. Steve's career started at Random House, where responsibilities included directing sales and marketing for the Ballantine Books Group. Steve holds a BA in Business Administration from Transylvania University and completed the Executive Development Program at The Wharton School.
